Paris is a destination that has never attracted me, I wanted to find out what beauty people were talking about, I went there without expecting anything and ready to criticize every single comma, inceve, I changed my mind, I fell in love with Paris, not only for the historical monuments and the history that one breathed walking in the Parisian streets, which reminds us so much of our Rome, but the perfumes, the croissants, the wine, the shops, the views, everything made perfect the city that I have always excluded from my destinations.<\/p>\n

It has been two intense days, but with a backpack on your back, everything is feasible. Surely it is impossible to admire everything related to the history of Paris in 2 days but if you have numbered days like us you can take advantage of it and get some ideas from here.<\/p>\n

1 day<\/span><\/h2>\n

Arrival at the station (we took the train from London – Paris) for those interested in taking the train, we took the fast train, it took about 2 and a half hours, I recommend taking it well in advance because it can cost definitely a lot.<\/p>\n

Departure<\/h4>\n

Champs-\u00c9lys\u00e9es: \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Strolling along the Champs-Elysees with a high tourist effervescence, you can stop for breakfast, shopping in the beautiful shops.<\/p>\n

Arch of Triumph :\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

It is the second most emblematic monument in Paris. An imposing building 50 m high and 45 m wide of high Roman inspiration.<\/p>\n

Eiffel Tower<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

There are several ways to approach the Eiffel Tower: on foot, by elevator, or a mixed foot and elevator. From the ground floor to the second floor, you can get there on foot or by elevator. From the second floor to the top you go up only with the other lift.<\/p>\n

To the\u00a0first floor<\/strong>\u00a0 the story of the Eiffel Tower is told in various ways (photos, cinema), there is the inevitable souvenir shop and if you get hungry, the 58 Tour Eiffel restaurant.<\/p>\n

To the\u00a0second floor<\/strong>\u00a0 there is\u00a0 the very expensive Jules Verne restaurant but also a more accessible buffet.<\/p>\n

On the top floor<\/strong> , in addition to enjoying a well-deserved rest, you can visit Gustave Eiffel’s studio.<\/p>\n

Opening hours<\/strong> :\u00a0 from\u00a0mid June to September:<\/strong>\u00a0 every day from 9.00 to 00.00.<\/p>\n

Rest of the year:<\/strong>\u00a0 from 09.30 to 23.00.<\/p>\n

Entrance + stairs to the second floor:<\/strong>\u00a0 adults 7 \u20ac; children from 12 to 24 years 5 \u20ac;\u00a0 children from 4 to 11 years and disabled\u00a0 \u20ac 3.<\/p>\n

Entrance + lift to the top floor:<\/strong>\u00a0 adults \u20ac 17; children from 12 to 24 years \u20ac 14.50;\u00a0 children from 4 to 11 years and disabled 8 \u20ac.<\/p>\n

Latin neighborhood\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Very characteristic, the area presents itself with the urban aspect of the past, surrounded by squares and small alleys that characterize it. The historical function of the neighborhood did not determine the name it bears, that of being the center of studies, and it is here that the Parisian university has been based since the 12th century. There are many restaurants offering typical French local cuisine. We tried everything from French cuisine and were fully satisfied.<\/p>\n

Notre Dame<\/span><\/h3>\n

There\u00a0 Cath\u00e9drale Notre-Dame de Paris<\/em>\u00a0 it is a splendid example of Gothic architecture<\/strong>. Strongly desired by Bishop Maurice de Sully, it was built between the 12th and 14th centuries (1163-1345). Main place\u00a0 of Catholic worship in Paris is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most visited monuments in the world.<\/p>\n

The Louvre is open from 9am to 6pm<\/strong> , every day except Tuesdays and the following public holidays: January 1st, May 1st, August 15th, December 25th. On Wednesdays and Fridays there is an extended opening until 8.45pm.<\/div>\n

Admission to the Louvre is free every first Sunday of the month and on July 14th<\/strong> . The ticket for the permanent collections is \u20ac 8.50 and entitles you to access for one day throughout the museum, excluding temporary exhibitions in the Napoleon Room. It is also valid for access to the Eug\u00e8ne Delacroix museum.<\/div>\n
For afternoon access<\/strong>\u00a0 on Wednesdays and Fridays, from 6 to 8.45 pm you pay \u20ac 6. Also in this case the temporary exhibitions in the Napoleon Room are excluded.<\/div>\n

Disneyland Paris<\/span><\/h2>\n

Disneyland Paris<\/b> can be reached approximately 40 km from the city center of Paris, in zone 5 of the Il\u00e8-de-France region. It is possible to reach the playground comfortably by train from the center of Paris.<\/p>\n

How to get to Disneyland from Paris<\/p>\n

To reach Disneyland from Paris, you can do it with the RER A train, from the Nation station which in just 35 minutes will take you to the Marne-la-Vallee – Chessy station which is located about 100 meters from the park entrance. The cost is \u20ac 7.60 each way.<\/p>\n

The ticket price varies according to the high or low season, online offers and promotional packages.<\/p>\n
